Anabeeb has announced an urgent requirement for Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a short-term industrial project. This role is critical in maintaining safety and ensuring that all work activities are carried out under proper permit systems. A WPR acts as a key link between safety procedures and field operations, ensuring that all tasks are executed in compliance with approved permits and safety regulations. In high-risk environments such as Petro Rabigh projects, only authorized and experienced personnel are allowed to handle permit responsibilities. The main purpose of this role is to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and ensure smooth coordination between teams. Candidates must have a valid Petro Rabigh authorization card, as this is a strict requirement for participation in the project.
Key Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and implementing work permits before any job begins on-site. They must ensure that all safety precautions mentioned in the permit are clearly understood and followed by the workforce. Conducting site inspections before starting work is a key duty to verify that all safety measures such as isolation, barricading, and PPE are in place. The WPR also monitors ongoing activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and stops any unsafe work immediately. Coordination with safety officers, supervisors, and other departments is essential for smooth operations. Proper documentation, permit closing procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents are also part of the responsibilities.
Skills and Knowledge
