Key Responsibilities
The Mason is responsible for carrying out bricklaying, block work, plastering, and surface finishing according to project requirements. They must read basic construction instructions and ensure accurate alignment, measurement, and material usage. Helpers are required to assist masons by transporting materials, mixing cement, cleaning the work area, and supporting general site operations. Both roles must follow supervisor instructions carefully, maintain discipline on-site, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Workers are also expected to coordinate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and avoid delays in daily construction activities.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates should have prior experience in construction work, especially in masonry or general labor assistance. Basic knowledge of tools, building materials, and construction techniques is preferred. Physical strength and stamina are important due to the demanding nature of site work. The ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment is essential for smooth operations.
