Introduction
The industrial and energy sector in Saudi Arabia continues to expand with large-scale projects in oil, gas, and petrochemicals. Cities like Jubail and Ras Tanura remain key hubs for Aramco and SABIC operations, creating high demand for qualified safety and quality control professionals. Currently, there is an urgent hiring requirement for Safety Officers and Welding QC inspectors, offering competitive rates and immediate opportunities for experienced candidates ready to work in high-standard industrial environments.
Job Role Overview & Importance
Safety Officers and Welding QC inspectors are critical roles in ensuring both workplace safety and quality assurance in industrial projects. A Safety Officer is responsible for preventing accidents and maintaining compliance with strict safety regulations, especially in Aramco plants where standards are extremely high. On the other hand, Welding QC professionals ensure that all welding activities meet approved specifications and quality benchmarks, which is essential for the structural integrity of pipelines and equipment. Both roles are vital for smooth project execution and long-term operational reliability.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Safety Officers are responsible for conducting site inspections, monitoring daily activities, and ensuring that all workers follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment. They identify potential hazards, implement preventive measures, and conduct safety meetings to maintain awareness. Welding QC inspectors, meanwhile, oversee welding processes, verify materials, and ensure that all work complies with SABIC and project specifications. They inspect weld quality, maintain documentation, and coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure that all welding standards are met. Both roles require close attention to detail and active involvement in daily site operations.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Candidates applying for Safety Officer positions should have relevant experience in industrial or oil and gas projects, preferably with Aramco standards. Welding QC applicants must be SABIC-approved and have strong knowledge of welding inspection procedures. A valid Chamber is required specifically for Welding QC roles. Applicants should possess good communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work under pressure. All candidates must have valid documentation, including Ajeer, Muqeem, and Iqama status, along with physical fitness for site work. Fresh candidates are generally not preferred due to the technical nature of these roles.
