Job Role Overview & Importance
The available positions include Pipe Fitter, Standby Man, Firewatch, and Flag Man. Each role plays an important part in maintaining smooth and safe construction site operations. Pipe Fitters are responsible for assembling and installing piping systems used in industrial projects. Standby Men ensure safety during high-risk activities by monitoring work areas and responding in emergencies. Firewatch personnel are assigned to observe hot work areas and prevent fire hazards during welding or cutting activities. Flag Men guide traffic and coordinate movement of vehicles and equipment within the site. All these roles contribute directly to maintaining safety, efficiency, and proper workflow on construction sites.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing assigned duties according to their job category. Pipe Fitters will work on installing and fitting pipes as per project requirements while ensuring proper alignment and safety standards. Standby Men will remain alert during critical operations and provide immediate support in case of emergencies. Firewatch workers will monitor welding and hot work areas to prevent fire incidents and ensure safety compliance at all times. Flag Men will control movement of vehicles and heavy equipment within the site to avoid accidents and ensure smooth operations. All workers must follow supervisor instructions and strictly comply with site safety regulations.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant experience in construction or industrial projects. Pipe Fitters must understand piping systems and installation techniques. Firewatch and Standby Man candidates should be alert, responsible, and familiar with safety procedures on construction sites. Flag Men should have basic knowledge of site traffic control and communication signals. Previous Gulf experience will be an advantage, but motivated candidates with basic experience may also apply. All applicants must be physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
