The selected Firewatch candidates will be responsible for continuously monitoring work areas where hot work activities are being performed. Their job includes identifying fire hazards, ensuring fire extinguishers are available and functional, and maintaining constant vigilance throughout the shift.
They must observe welding, grinding, and cutting operations closely and immediately report any unsafe conditions to supervisors or safety officers. Firewatch workers are also responsible for maintaining safety logs, ensuring compliance with company safety standards, and assisting emergency response teams if required.
Since this is a long-term industrial role, workers must remain alert, disciplined, and fully committed to safety procedures at all times. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work under strict safety regulations.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
This position is strictly for experienced candidates who have previously worked as Firewatch or in similar safety-related roles in industrial environments. Basic knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response systems is required.
