Description
The FCAW Welder position focuses on performing high-standard welding operations using Flux Cored Arc Welding techniques in 3G and 4G positions. This role is essential in industrial fabrication and construction projects where strong and reliable welds are required for structural safety and performance. The purpose of this job is to ensure that all welding activities meet engineering specifications, safety standards, and project requirements. Welders will be working in a fast-paced environment in Jubail, contributing to large-scale industrial development. Key Responsibilities
The selected FCAW Welders will be responsible for executing welding tasks according to technical drawings, supervisor instructions, and project specifications. They must perform welding in 3G and 4G positions with precision, ensuring strong and defect-free joints. Candidates will be expected to prepare materials, clean surfaces, and maintain welding equipment in proper working condition. They must also follow strict safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with site regulations. Welders will be required to inspect completed work for quality assurance and report any defects or issues to supervisors. Maintaining productivity, accuracy, and discipline on-site is essential for successful project execution.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have proven experience in FCAW welding, particularly in 3G and 4G positions, within industrial or construction environments. A strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and structural fabrication is required. Candidates should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and follow engineering specifications accurately. Experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial projects will be considered an advantage.
