This opportunity is part of a critical shutdown maintenance project where multiple technical and safety professionals are required to ensure safe and smooth industrial operations. The project involves maintenance activities, system inspections, equipment repairs, and strict safety supervision in industrial facilities. Electrical and Instrument Technicians will support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and control systems. Meanwhile, safety-related roles such as Permit Receivers, Fire Watch personnel, and Safety Officers will ensure all work is performed under approved permits and strict hazard control procedures. These positions play a vital role in preventing accidents, maintaining operational integrity, and ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards during shutdown execution.
⚙️ Roles & Responsibilities
Each selected candidate will perform duties according to their specialization.
- Electrical Technicians will handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems during shutdown operations.
- Instrument Technicians will be responsible for calibration, testing, and repair of control systems and field instruments.
- Permit Receivers will manage work permits and ensure all safety conditions are fulfilled before job execution.
- Fire Watch personnel will monitor hot work areas and take immediate action in case of fire hazards or emergencies.
- Safety Officers will enforce safety regulations, conduct inspections, and ensure full compliance with site safety standards throughout the project.
🧠 Required Experience & Skills
Applicants must have strong hands-on experience in shutdown projects, preferably within oil & gas or petrochemical industries. Electrical and Instrument Technicians should be well-versed in industrial systems, fault diagnosis, and maintenance procedures. Permit Receivers and Safety Officers must understand Aramco or similar permit-to-work systems, including risk assessment and documentation processes. Fire Watch personnel should have knowledge of fire prevention methods and emergency response procedures. All candidates must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of working in high-pressure environments. Relevant certifications, prior shutdown experience, and teamwork skills are mandatory.
