Each role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining strict safety compliance, and achieving high technical standards in a highly regulated industrial environment. Due to the nature of oil and gas projects, candidates with relevant experience and strong safety awareness are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
All selected candidates will be assigned duties according to their trade and professional experience. Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with Sabic safety standards, and identifying potential hazards. Mechanical Supervisors will oversee mechanical works, coordinate teams, and ensure quality execution of tasks. Work Permit Receivers will manage permit-to-work systems and ensure all activities are properly authorized before execution. Pipe Fitters and Riggers will handle installation, alignment, lifting, and mechanical support operations. Fire Watchers and Standby Men will monitor hot work areas to prevent fire-related risks and ensure site safety. Electricians will carry out installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, while Flagmen will control site traffic and ensure safe movement of vehicles and equipment. Helpers will assist skilled workers in daily site operations and material handling tasks.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Candidates must have relevant experience in oil and gas or industrial plant projects. Safety Officers and Supervisors should possess strong knowledge of Sabic safety regulations and site compliance procedures. Technical workers such as Pipe Fitters, Riggers, and Electricians must have hands-on experience in their respective trades and be capable of working in demanding site conditions. Work Permit Receivers should be familiar with permit-to-work systems and safety documentation requirements. Helpers must be physically fit and able to support field operations effectively. Strong teamwork, discipline, and basic understanding of industrial safety standards are essential for all positions. Sabic ID card holders will be given preference where applicable.
