This urgent hiring opportunity is for Indoor and Outdoor Cleaners for a long-term project in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, under ABS Contracting Office. Core Duties and Responsibilities
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, including indoor facilities such as offices, accommodations, and workspaces, as well as outdoor areas like construction sites and surrounding premises. Duties include sweeping, mopping, waste collection, sanitization, and proper disposal of garbage. Outdoor cleaners may also assist in maintaining site cleanliness, removing debris, and ensuring safe walking and working areas. All tasks must be performed according to safety and hygiene standards. Cleaners are expected to follow instructions from supervisors and maintain discipline while working in a team environment.
Required Competencies and Expertise
Candidates must have valid original documents, including a passport and iqama. No advanced technical qualifications are required for this role, but previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping will be an advantage. Applicants should be physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks for long hours. Discipline, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Candidates must also be prepared to undergo Tasreeh (permit) approval before deployment, which may take up to 5 days.
