Role Summary
This urgent requirement is for an Scaffolder position for a long-term project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Candidates must have prior Saipem project experience, as offshore operations demand strict compliance with international safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Offshore Scaffolder is responsible for assembling, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in offshore environments such as oil rigs and marine platforms. Duties include ensuring all scaffolding is safely installed according to engineering drawings and safety guidelines. The role also involves inspecting scaffold structures for stability, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards. Workers must coordinate closely with other offshore teams, follow instructions from supervisors, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols at all times due to the high-risk nature of offshore environments.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must hold valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and H2S certification, both of which are mandatory for offshore deployment.
