WPR (Work Permit Receiver)

Description

HASECO has announced an urgent requirement for Work Permit Receivers (WPR) to support ongoing industrial operations. The WPR plays a critical role in maintaining safety and operational control within oil & gas and industrial project sites. This position ensures that all work activities are properly authorized through the permit-to-work system and conducted in compliance with company and Aramco safety standards. By verifying documentation and monitoring site conditions before work begins, the WPR helps prevent accidents, ensures hazard controls are in place, and supports safe execution of high-risk activities. This role is essential in maintaining disciplined and regulated operations in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining, verifying, and managing work permits before any job activity starts on site. This includes reviewing job scope, confirming safety precautions, checking isolation procedures, and coordinating with safety officers and supervisors. The WPR ensures that all workers comply with approved safety measures and that documentation is complete and accurate. Monitoring active permits, ensuring renewal when required, and closing permits after task completion are also part of the responsibility. The role requires strict attention to detail, compliance with Aramco standards, and effective communication with project teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have valid experience as a Work Permit Receiver in industrial or oil & gas projects. Knowledge of Aramco permit-to-work systems and safety regulations is essential. Applicants should have strong documentation handling skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments on-site. Required documents include Aramco ID copy (cancelled), WPR ID scanned copy, valid Iqama, CV, and other relevant WPR certificates. The candidate must demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and a strong understanding of safety compliance procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are also important for this role.
