Key Responsibilities
The Rigger Level 1 will be responsible for assisting in lifting operations, preparing loads for movement, checking rigging gear, and coordinating with crane operators during material handling activities. The role requires ensuring that all lifting tasks are performed according to approved safety procedures and project requirements. The rigger must inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting accessories before use and report any defects immediately. In addition, the candidate will guide load movement, maintain communication with supervisors, and ensure site safety during all rigging activities. Accuracy, awareness, and strict adherence to safety standards are essential for this role.
Skills and Knowledge
