Key Responsibilities
Mechanical QC professionals are responsible for inspecting mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Mechanical Foremen manage teams, supervise daily operations, and ensure that productivity and quality targets are achieved.
Pipe Fabricators handle the fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems according to technical drawings. Safety Officers are responsible for enforcing safety rules, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) manage work permits and ensure that all tasks are performed under safe and approved conditions.
Standby Men support safe operations by monitoring work areas, while Multi Welders (TIG SS) perform high-quality welding tasks on stainless steel materials. All roles require teamwork, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Skills and Requirements
Candidates must have relevant experience based on the position they are applying for. Experience in SABIC-related projects is mandatory for most roles, particularly for QC, Foreman, WPR, and Standby Man positions.
Technical roles such as welders and fabricators require hands-on experience, knowledge of tools, and the ability to read technical drawings. WPR candidates must hold valid TUV certification. Safety Officers must meet Iqama requirements, and candidates with Iqama profession 26 are not eligible.
