Skilled professionals such as Millwright Technicians, Instrument Technicians, and Mechanical Foremen are essential to ensure that all systems are safely maintained and restored within strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Millwright Technicians are responsible for installing, aligning, repairing, and maintaining heavy rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines. Instrument Technicians handle calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems and instruments to ensure accurate plant performance. Mechanical Foremen supervise shutdown teams, assign daily tasks, and ensure all mechanical activities are completed safely and efficiently. All roles require strict adherence to shutdown procedures, coordination with engineers and supervisors, and compliance with safety regulations. Workers must ensure equipment is properly inspected, repaired, and tested before plant restart to avoid operational risks.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have proven experience in shutdown or turnaround projects, preferably in petrochemical or refinery environments. Strong technical expertise in mechanical or instrumentation fields is required depending on the role.
