Job Role Overview & Importance
A Rigger Level III plays a vital role in lifting and material handling operations on oil and gas construction sites. In Aramco projects like Jafurah, riggers are responsible for ensuring that all lifting activities are carried out safely and according to strict engineering and safety standards. Their work supports heavy equipment installation, piping systems, and structural assembly. Without skilled riggers, industrial operations cannot be performed safely or efficiently, making this role essential for maintaining productivity and preventing workplace hazards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for assisting and performing rigging operations under site supervision. Duties include preparing loads for lifting, attaching slings and shackles, guiding crane movements, and ensuring proper balance during lifting operations. Riggers must inspect lifting equipment before use and report any defects immediately. They are also required to follow safety procedures strictly and coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and safety officers. Maintaining discipline and ensuring safe execution of all lifting tasks is a key part of this job role.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must hold valid Aramco approval for Rigger Level III and have prior experience in oil and gas or industrial construction projects. Candidates should be familiar with rigging techniques, lifting procedures, and safety regulations. Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding site conditions are essential. Applicants must also have valid documents including passport, Absher, Iqama, Muqeem, and body fitness certificate. Candidates with GCC experience will be given preference. This is a long-term project, so commitment and reliability are important for selection.
