Job Role Overview & Importance

Safety Officers are responsible for ensuring that all site activities comply with ARAMCO safety standards, while Firewatchmen focus on preventing fire hazards during hot work activities like welding and cutting.

In ARAMCO-controlled environments, even minor safety violations can lead to major operational risks, making these roles essential for maintaining workplace discipline, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining strict safety standards across the project site. Safety Officers will monitor daily operations, conduct site inspections, and ensure that all workers follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. They will also be required to conduct toolbox talks, prepare safety reports, and respond to any unsafe conditions immediately.
Firewatchmen will be responsible for monitoring hot work areas, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are available and functional, and preventing fire-related hazards during welding or cutting activities. They must remain alert throughout their shift and report any unsafe condition without delay. Both roles require coordination with supervisors, contractors, and safety managers to maintain continuous compliance with ARAMCO safety standards.
Skills,Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have prior experience in oil & gas, industrial construction, or ARAMCO projects. Strong knowledge of safety procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response systems is highly preferred. For Safety Officer positions, ARAMCO experience will be considered a major advantage.
Candidates must hold a valid TUV card issued from approved training institutes such as Energy Tech, ITC, GTSC, Human Assets, Mega Training, Alkhobraa Training, SADA, MCTC, or NPA. Only certifications from these approved organizations will be accepted for eligibility.
Firewatchman applicants should also have basic safety awareness and experience in hot work monitoring. All candidates must possess valid documentation including passport, chamber registration, and original medical fitness certificate.
