Job Role Overview & Importance
A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all workplace activities are carried out safely and in compliance with established health and safety regulations. In construction and industrial environments, this role is extremely important to prevent accidents, reduce risks, and maintain a safe working environment. Even in non-Aramco projects, safety standards remain strict, making the Safety Officer a key part of project success and workforce protection.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities and ensuring all operations follow safety guidelines. Duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions when required. They will also conduct toolbox talks, ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain safety reports and documentation. Coordination with supervisors and workers is essential to ensure safe and smooth project execution.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in safety-related roles, preferably in construction or industrial projects. Although this is a Non-Aramco position, strong knowledge of safety procedures and risk management is required. Candidates must hold valid iqama, muqeem, and Ajeer documentation. Good communication skills and the ability to manage site safety independently are essential. Only experienced candidates will be considered.
