Introduction
Saudi Arabia remains one of the leading destinations for skilled industrial and offshore professionals. With continuous expansion in oil, gas, and marine operations, companies regularly hire experienced manpower for critical offshore assignments. A new urgent opportunity has opened for Aramco Approved Work Permit Receivers for an offshore project in Dammam. This is an excellent chance for qualified candidates with Aramco experience to secure a well-paid contract position with possible extension.
Job Role Overview & Importance
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is one of the most important positions on offshore and industrial sites. This role ensures that all work activities begin only after required safety permits are approved and site conditions meet compliance standards. In offshore Aramco projects, strict safety systems are mandatory due to the high-risk working environment. WPR professionals help prevent accidents, coordinate between departments, and make sure operations continue without unnecessary delays. Their knowledge of permit systems and safety procedures is essential for successful project execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for receiving and managing work permits for maintenance, construction, and operational activities. They must verify job locations, confirm safety controls, and coordinate with supervisors before tasks begin. Daily duties may include checking isolation systems, confirming hazard controls, ensuring lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining proper permit records. Candidates may also communicate with safety teams, monitor ongoing work, and ensure compliance with Aramco offshore regulations. Strong discipline and attention to detail are critical in this position.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have at least five years of experience in Aramco offshore projects. Candidates should hold a valid Saudi Aramco Work Permit certificate along with recognized safety training such as OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or Basic H2S certification. Additional certifications including H2S, Hazard Recognition, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, and BOSIET are required for offshore work. Strong communication skills, understanding of safety systems, and previous offshore site exposure are highly preferred. Only candidates with complete valid documents should apply.
