The company is seeking experienced WPR (Work Permit Receiver) and Welders to join critical industrial and construction projects in Riyadh, Yambo, and Al Hasa. The WPR ensures that all high-risk activities are properly managed with approved work permits, while welders carry out fabrication and construction work according to strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities
WPR (Work Permit Receiver):
The WPR is responsible for managing and monitoring all work permits for high-risk operations. This includes reviewing permits, ensuring all approvals are in place, and verifying compliance with safety standards. The WPR coordinates between various teams, supervisors, and management to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently. They must also maintain meticulous records of issued and closed permits and act as the primary point of contact for safety-related queries on-site. Excellent English communication is crucial for effective coordination.
Welder (Third-Party & Aramco Approved):
Welders perform a variety of tasks in industrial and construction settings, including welding, cutting, and assembly of metal structures according to project specifications. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality workmanship, ensuring safety during operations, and adhering to Aramco-approved standards where required. Welders must inspect their own work, identify potential issues, and report them promptly. Both Aramco-approved and third-party-certified welders must ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
Skills and Knowledge
Successful candidates must have prior experience in their respective fields. WPR candidates should have strong knowledge of work permit systems, risk assessment, and safety management procedures. They must also have strong English communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and supervisors.
For welders, experience with both general fabrication and Aramco-approved procedures is necessary. Candidates should possess relevant certifications, demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques, and show attention to safety and quality standards. Familiarity with Saudi labor regulations, project documentation, and emergency procedures is also important. Candidates must bring original documents, including IQAMA, Muqeem, CR, Passport, Medical, and Vendor Code.
