Safety Officers – Document Controller – Quality Control
Description
Quality Control professionals play a vital role in ensuring that all engineering and construction activities meet required industry standards and client specifications. In oil and gas projects, especially in Saudi Arabia, QC teams are responsible for maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations, technical drawings, and inspection procedures. The purpose of these roles is to ensure that every stage of construction or installation is executed with precision, minimizing errors, delays, and safety risks. These positions are highly important in maintaining the reputation of contractors and ensuring successful project completion within Aramco-approved standards.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring that all work activities comply with approved project specifications. Piping QC professionals will inspect welding, piping installations, and fabrication work, while RTR QC inspectors will ensure real-time compliance during ongoing site activities. Security System QC staff will verify system installations and functionality according to project requirements. Safety Officers will ensure all work is performed under strict HSE regulations, and Document Controllers will manage RFI drawings, technical files, and project records. Coordination with engineers, supervisors, and site teams will be a daily responsibility to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong technical knowledge in their respective QC disciplines along with relevant certifications such as Aramco approval and CBT clearance where required. Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projects is highly essential. Candidates should be familiar with inspection tools, quality standards, and international construction codes. Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are necessary for success in these roles. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a site environment are also important. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries will be an added advantage.
