Job Role Overview & Importance
Civil and Mechanical Foremen play a critical role in managing daily site operations, ensuring that construction and mechanical activities are executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Their leadership ensures that manpower, equipment, and materials are properly utilized, helping projects stay on schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for supervising site workers, monitoring progress of civil or mechanical activities, and ensuring all tasks are completed as per engineering drawings and project requirements. They will coordinate with engineers, safety officers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow on site. Daily responsibilities also include inspecting work quality, assigning tasks to workers, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment, and enforcing safety regulations at all times. Foremen are also expected to prepare progress reports and resolve any technical or manpower-related issues that may arise during execution.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have proven experience in civil or mechanical supervision roles, preferably in industrial or construction projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region. Strong communication skills in English are required, as coordination with multinational teams is common. Candidates must hold valid safety certifications such as OSHA, Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid training.
