Introduction
The construction and industrial sector in Saudi Arabia continues to grow rapidly, especially in major oil and gas projects under Aramco. These mega projects require highly skilled and certified workers to maintain safety, efficiency, and international standards. Among the most in-demand roles are WPR, scaffolding inspectors, riggers, and forklift operators. These positions play a critical role in ensuring smooth project execution and safe working environments. Currently, an urgent recruitment drive is open for Aramco-approved craftsmen with immediate mobilization, offering excellent opportunities for experienced professionals looking to work in top-tier industrial projects.
Job Role Overview & Importance
These roles are essential in maintaining the backbone of construction and maintenance operations in Aramco projects. A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) ensures that all safety permits and job authorizations are properly managed before any task begins. Scaffolding Inspectors are responsible for verifying the safety and stability of scaffolding structures used at high-risk work sites. Riggers handle lifting operations, ensuring that heavy materials are moved safely and efficiently, while forklift operators manage material handling and logistics within the project site.
Each role contributes directly to workplace safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with Aramco’s strict industrial standards. Without these skilled professionals, large-scale construction and maintenance work would not be possible in such a controlled and safe manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for carrying out daily operational tasks according to Aramco safety and quality guidelines. WPR professionals will handle permit documentation, coordinate with safety officers, and ensure that all site activities are approved before work begins. Scaffolding Inspectors will conduct routine inspections of scaffolding structures, ensuring proper assembly, load capacity, and safety compliance.
Riggers will be involved in lifting, shifting, and securing heavy equipment using approved rigging techniques while following strict safety procedures. Forklift Operators will manage loading and unloading operations, transportation of materials within the site, and ensure equipment is used safely without causing damage or delays.
All workers must strictly follow site safety regulations, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any hazards immediately to supervisors.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have relevant Aramco approval or equivalent certification in their respective fields. Prior experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial shutdown projects is highly preferred. Candidates should have strong knowledge of safety procedures and hands-on experience in their trade.
Basic communication skills, teamwork ability, and discipline on-site are essential. While experienced candidates are prioritized, skilled workers with valid certifications and strong practical knowledge may also be considered depending on project requirements. Candidates must be physically fit and ready for immediate mobilization.
