Key Duties and Work Responsibilities
QA/QC personnel are responsible for inspecting welding and mechanical work, ensuring compliance with project standards, and maintaining proper documentation. Mechanical and welding foremen supervise teams, assign daily tasks, and ensure smooth workflow at the site. Fitters handle tray installation, packing, and blind/deblind operations with accuracy. Fabricators perform cutting, grinding, bolting, and strip lining work as per project requirements. Grinders are responsible for heavy grinding tasks, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished. All roles require teamwork, coordination, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required
Candidates must have relevant industrial experience, especially in shutdown or plant maintenance projects. QA/QC applicants should have strong knowledge of welding and mechanical inspection standards. Foremen must have leadership experience and the ability to manage teams effectively. Fitters and fabricators should be skilled in handling tools and reading technical drawings. Grinders must have experience in heavy grinding work. All applicants must have valid and updated documentation, including Muqeem and medical reports. Discipline, teamwork, and the ability to work under tight schedules are essential.
