Overview of the Role
Ihtimal Contracting Company is urgently hiring manpower for a large-scale oil and gas shutdown project in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. This requirement includes multiple technical, safety, and support positions essential for smooth execution of maintenance, fabrication, insulation, and lifting activities in industrial plants. Shutdown projects demand highly skilled and experienced workers to ensure safe operations within strict timelines. Each role contributes directly to maintaining operational efficiency, safety compliance, and quality execution according to Aramco and industrial standards. Due to the urgency of the project, immediate mobilization and readiness for deployment are required.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
All selected candidates will perform duties according to their respective trade expertise. The Piping Foreman will supervise teams and manage piping-related site activities. Pipe Fitters and Piping Fabricators will handle installation, alignment, cutting, and fabrication of piping systems as per technical drawings. Rigger Level III personnel will carry out lifting operations and ensure safe handling of heavy equipment. Grindermen will perform grinding and finishing tasks to support fabrication work. Safety Officers will monitor site conditions and enforce strict safety compliance. Work Permit Receivers will manage permit systems and ensure all activities are properly authorized before execution. Firewatch personnel will be responsible for monitoring hot work areas to prevent fire hazards. Scaffolders will assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures, while Insulators and Cladders will carry out insulation and cladding works on industrial equipment. Insulation Foremen will supervise insulation teams and ensure quality control throughout the project.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Candidates must have relevant experience in oil and gas shutdown or industrial maintenance projects. Chamber registration or Aramco approval is mandatory for all positions. Technical workers such as Pipe Fitters, Fabricators, Riggers, Scaffolders, Insulators, and Cladders must possess strong hands-on experience in their respective trades. Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers must be well-versed in Aramco safety standards and permit-to-work systems. Candidates should be physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working in demanding industrial environments. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and strict adherence to safety procedures are essential for all applicants.
