A Construction & Industrial Project hiring partner in Saudi Arabia is urgently recruiting experienced Safety Officers for a full-time, long-term project located at PK North Project, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is designed for skilled safety professionals who have strong experience in industrial and construction site safety management. The role is critical in ensuring safe working conditions, compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and proper implementation of safety procedures across all project activities. Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and supervising all health and safety measures at the project site. Duties include conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly to prevent accidents. The Safety Officer must ensure that all workers follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. They will also be required to conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers to maintain a strong safety culture on-site.
In addition, the Safety Officer must prepare detailed safety reports, document incidents, and maintain accurate records of near-miss events and safety violations. Coordination with project supervisors, engineers, and management is essential to ensure compliance with company safety policies and Saudi industrial regulations. The role also includes participating in risk assessments, emergency planning, and ensuring that evacuation procedures are properly implemented. Immediate response to unsafe conditions and enforcement of safety rules are key responsibilities of this position.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have proven experience working as Safety Officers in construction or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations is required, along with the ability to conduct hazard identification and risk assessments. Candidates should be familiar with safety inspection procedures, incident reporting systems, and emergency response planning.
Experience in Saudi projects will be considered a strong advantage.
