A leading industrial project in Marjan is urgently hiring a qualified Safety Officer for a long-term assignment. This role is essential in maintaining workplace safety and ensuring strict compliance with Aramco HSE standards. In large-scale oil and gas environments across Saudi Arabia, safety officers play a critical role in protecting workers, equipment, and facilities from potential hazards. The position requires continuous monitoring of site activities, identification of risks, and implementation of effective safety measures. It is a highly responsible role that contributes directly to accident prevention and the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all on-site operations comply with Aramco and company safety regulations. This includes conducting regular risk assessments, performing safety audits, and investigating incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Monitoring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforcing safety procedures are key daily tasks. The officer will also maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports as required by management.
