Overview of the Role
This urgent requirement is announced for a major shutdown maintenance project across Maaden, PKS, and APPC locations in Saudi Arabia, where skilled and semi-skilled manpower is needed to support critical industrial operations. Shutdown projects in the mining and petrochemical sector require well-coordinated technical teams to ensure safe maintenance, repair, and inspection of plant systems within strict time limits. The available positions include piping, supervision, safety, and permit control roles, all essential for maintaining operational efficiency and strict safety compliance during shutdown execution. Candidates with relevant industrial experience and complete documentation will be prioritized for immediate interview and mobilization.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
Selected candidates will be assigned duties according to their respective job roles. Pipe Fitters will be responsible for installation, alignment, and maintenance of piping systems as per technical drawings and site requirements. Static Supervisors and Foremen will oversee shutdown activities, coordinate teams, and ensure quality execution of mechanical and maintenance tasks. Permit Receivers will manage work permits and ensure all activities are properly authorized before execution begins. Standby Men will monitor high-risk operations and ensure continuous safety compliance at site. All workers must strictly follow safety procedures, report hazards immediately, and coordinate effectively with engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth and safe workflow during shutdown operations.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Applicants must have relevant experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, or industrial shutdown projects. Pipe Fitters should possess strong hands-on knowledge of piping systems, installation, and maintenance work. Supervisors and Foremen must have proven leadership experience along with technical understanding of static equipment maintenance. Permit Receivers should be well-versed in permit-to-work systems and safety documentation procedures. Standby Men must have basic safety awareness and experience in monitoring hazardous site activities. All candidates must hold valid documentation, including updated CV, Iqama, passport copy, Muqeem (minimum 3 months validity), body fitness certificate, insurance, chamber registration, and Ajeer registration (mandatory for Maaden projects).
