Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of a Work Permit Receiver include obtaining, verifying, and managing work permits before any job begins on site. The WPR ensures that all safety requirements such as First Aid readiness, BLS certification, and risk assessments are properly completed. They coordinate with supervisors to confirm job scope, isolate hazardous areas, and ensure tools and equipment are safe for use. The WPR also monitors ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with approved permits and immediately halts operations if any unsafe condition arises. Additionally, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting safety concerns, and communicating with the safety department are key duties that ensure smooth and secure operations on-site.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction or industrial projects.
