WPR Jobs Vacancies: 10 Positions
Description
Black Shield International Company has announced an urgent recruitment drive for experienced professionals for a long-term industrial assignment in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The current requirement is for Work Permit Receivers (WPR), with a total of 10 positions available. This opportunity is linked with well-known industrial facilities, including IBN ZAHR and IBN SINA approved sites, making it a strong opportunity for candidates already experienced in Saudi industrial safety systems. The project duration is approximately 4 months, and selected candidates will be deployed after successful document verification. The role is highly important in maintaining safety compliance and ensuring that all work activities are properly authorized before execution in hazardous or controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is to ensure that all job activities are carried out under proper safety authorization. The WPR must receive, verify, and manage work permits before any maintenance, construction, or operational activity begins on-site. They are responsible for coordinating with safety officers, supervisors, and site engineers to confirm that all safety precautions are in place. The WPR must ensure that all hazards are identified, risk assessments are completed, and control measures are properly implemented. Additionally, they are required to monitor ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with permit conditions and immediately report any unsafe conditions or violations. Proper communication and strict adherence to permit-to-work systems are essential parts of this role in industrial environments.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for the WPR position must have strong knowledge of industrial safety systems and permit-to-work procedures. Experience in Saudi Aramco or similar industrial standards such as IBN ZAHR and IBN SINA approved projects will be highly preferred. Applicants should understand hazard identification, risk assessment procedures, and basic site safety regulations. Good communication skills are essential to coordinate with multiple departments including safety teams, supervisors, and contractors. Candidates must also be familiar with documentation processes and have the ability to maintain accurate records of permits and safety approvals. A valid certificate in work permit receiver training, along with prior field experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical plants, will significantly enhance selection chances.
