An urgent requirement has been announced for Safety Officers for a major industrial project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is strictly for SATORP-approved candidates, as the project demands high-level safety compliance and certified manpower. Safety Officers play a vital role in maintaining safe working conditions in oil, gas, and petrochemical shutdown environments where risks are significantly high. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all site activities are conducted under strict safety regulations and approved procedures, minimizing hazards and preventing workplace incidents. This is a high-priority recruitment drive with immediate mobilization requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring all site operations to ensure full compliance with SATORP safety standards. Duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying unsafe conditions, and ensuring corrective actions are taken immediately. They will enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among workers and ensure all tasks are performed according to approved safety procedures. Safety Officers will also conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site awareness sessions to reduce risks during operations. Reporting incidents, preparing safety documentation, and coordinating with supervisors and project management teams are key parts of the role. Quick response to emergencies and hazard situations is essential.

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

A solid understanding of occupational health and safety standards, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures is required. Candidates must be disciplined, alert, and capable of handling high-pressure site environments. Good communication and reporting skills are necessary for coordination with site teams and supervisors.
