Job Role Overview & Importance

Scaffolding teams ensure that all elevated work structures are properly installed, inspected, and maintained according to Aramco safety standards. Meanwhile, Fire Watch workers play a critical role in monitoring hot work activities such as welding and cutting to prevent fire hazards during operations. Together, these positions form the backbone of site safety management and help ensure that all shutdown and construction activities are completed without incidents or delays.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Scaffolding Inspectors and Supervisors will be responsible for checking all scaffolding structures before and during use, ensuring they meet safety compliance requirements. They will also supervise scaffolding erection and dismantling activities, coordinate with workers, and maintain safety documentation on site. Fire Watch personnel will be assigned to monitor high-risk work areas, especially during welding and cutting operations, to ensure fire prevention procedures are strictly followed. They must remain alert at all times and immediately respond to any potential fire risk. All workers are expected to follow instructions from site supervisors and maintain strict adherence to industrial safety rules throughout their shift.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants for these positions should ideally have previous experience in Aramco-approved projects or industrial construction environments. For Scaffolding Inspector and Supervisor roles, candidates must have strong technical knowledge of scaffolding systems and safety inspection procedures.
