The positions of HSE Officer and Work Permit Receiver are highly important roles that ensure safe, controlled, and efficient execution of pipeline construction and maintenance activities. HSE Officers are responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental procedures at the worksite, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards. Work Permit Receivers ensure that no job activity starts without proper authorization and valid permits. Both roles contribute directly to maintaining workplace safety, preventing accidents, and supporting smooth project operations in a high-risk industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

HSE Officers will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring immediate corrective actions are taken. They will conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ensure all workers follow approved safety procedures. Work Permit Receivers will prepare, verify, and manage work permits for different site activities, ensuring all safety requirements are met before any task begins. They will coordinate closely with supervisors, engineers, and safety teams to ensure proper documentation and approval processes. Both positions require strict adherence to pipeline safety protocols and continuous monitoring of field operations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates applying for HSE Officer positions must have pipeline project experience and at least three Saudi Aramco approvals, along with strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard control, and emergency response systems. Work Permit Receivers must possess a valid certification card and experience in permit-to-work systems within oil and gas projects. Both roles require strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and attention to detail. Candidates should be capable of working in demanding site conditions and understanding Gulf region safety regulations. Previous overseas experience in large-scale construction or pipeline projects will be considered an added advantage.
