Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Rigger II, Safety Officer & Fire Watcher
Basic Support Company is urgently hiring experienced manpower for short-term industrial support work in Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical sector. This requirement is strictly for candidates with prior SABIC or Petrokemya project experience, ensuring that only qualified and familiar personnel are deployed in high-standard industrial environments. The roles are critical for maintaining safety compliance, operational control, and smooth execution of maintenance and support activities in Jubail industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) will be responsible for managing work authorization processes, ensuring that all tasks are properly permitted before execution, and coordinating with safety teams to maintain compliance. Riggers (Level II) will handle lifting operations, assist crane activities, and ensure safe rigging practices are followed at all times. The Safety Officer will monitor site conditions, enforce safety rules, and ensure adherence to industrial HSE standards. Fire Watch personnel will observe hot work areas, prevent fire hazards, and respond immediately in case of any emergency situations. All roles require strict attention to safety protocols and active participation in maintaining controlled industrial operations.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have proven experience in SABIC or Petrokemya industrial environments, as this is mandatory for selection. Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems, industrial safety procedures, and hazard control is essential. Applicants should be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Familiarity with petrochemical plant operations, safety compliance standards, and emergency response procedures will be highly preferred. Basic communication skills and the ability to follow strict instructions in a team environment are required for all positions.
