Job Role Overview & Importance

Millwright technicians maintain rotating machinery and mechanical systems, while conveyor technicians ensure material handling systems run smoothly. Vulcanizing technicians repair and maintain belts used in conveyor systems. Fabricators and welders build and repair metal structures, pipelines, and components. Electricians maintain power systems and equipment reliability. Fire watch personnel support safety during hot work activities, while draftsmen, tool keepers, store keepers, and document controllers ensure technical organization and smooth project coordination. These roles are highly valuable because every successful industrial project depends on skilled labor and effective support teams.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform daily tasks according to their trade and project requirements. Millwright technicians may handle equipment alignment, pump repairs, and machine overhauls. Conveyor and vulcanizing technicians will inspect belts, rollers, motors, and conveyor systems while carrying out repairs. Fabricators and welders will cut, shape, join, and assemble metal parts following drawings and safety procedures. Electricians will troubleshoot faults, install wiring, and maintain motors or panels. Fire watch staff will monitor hot work areas and ensure emergency readiness. Draftsmen will prepare technical drawings, while tool keepers, material coordinators, and document controllers will manage inventory, records, and site documentation efficiently.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant experience in industrial, construction, mining, or plant maintenance environments. Trade certifications, technical diplomas, or hands-on experience will be highly preferred for technician and skilled roles. Welders applying for 6G CS positions should have strong welding skills and proven experience. Candidates for coordination or document roles should have organizational skills and basic computer knowledge.
